Motorola C168 Codes and stuffs








In this section i disclose all the codes i know about the cell of the masses i.e Motorola C168


    1. Bending the Learning Curve
  3. It would have been great if the words which we frequently type during messaging would occur more frequently like the user id or password which we use during our GPRS session or the frequently used names.
    Here i have found a new way of bending the learning curve,here it is,if for example you want to fit maharashtra in the library of words of your c168 then you type m then a then h and you may get mahalo on your screen.if you press the right or up key of the four up,down,right and left keys then you get the entire word Mahalo.Now fitting maharashtra in the system,first write arashtra ,yes you got it right arashtra and not maharashtra because you will get the mah from mahalo.Now that you have written arashtra press the left direction key till you reach a of the word arashtra.now type m and then a and then h and you might get something like this mahaloarashtra.If you get like this then press the right direction key and now whenever you will type mah you will get it like this mahalorashtra.Yes you will get mahalorashtra but you can erase alo and get maharashtra.

  4. The Hidden Codes
  5. These two codes are the hidden codes,they are *#**372# and *#**672#.
    Whenever you press any of these codes and then press the dialling key,the green coloured button then a menu will appear.

    For the 672 code it will be
  1. keypad(use to check if all the keys are working or not)
  2. LCD(use to check if the screen is working or not)
  3. contrast(set the contrast)
  4. vibrator(to check if the vibrator is working or not)
  5. melody(to check if the sound output is there or not)
  6. audio path(to check whether the hands free is working or not)
  7. battery info(of dealers use)
  8. 112 test(don't use)
  9. FM radio(to check if the FM is working or not)
  10. reset clock(used to reset all the clocks in the system,don't press)

  1. Different Way to Store Images(or)

If you want to save your personal images or just other types then you can save it in the MMS Templates,

just open an empty template and click on edit template option and then insert an image from your picture gallery and then save the template.Now you can delete that picture from your picture gallery as it is saved in the template.

To retrieve the picture,open that template and click on edit message and save it in drafts and now you can save the picture by clicking on objects and save.

The same can be done to ring tones.

  1. New Wallpapers and Images from the Templates.

If you don't have a GPRS service and want to change the boring wallpapers and ring tones,then you can extract few from the MMS Templates.

Click on any template and click on edit message.

then save it in drafts and save the objects in it!

Roadside Romeo Logic

I always get these strange thinking and once my train in thinking land stumbled upon this idea, well my friends might know it that i want to be an R & D Engineer in a top research Group(its a dream which may be realised).I was thinking of this strange idea,what if i become a R & D Engineer and i am assigned the task to design a logic machine with the capacity to detect the flaws in the product which passes through it at the rate of 1 product per second.
